On Wednesday 28th January, 40 Year 7 pupils paid a visit to Attwell Farm in Redditch. Pupils handled creepy crawlies, ferrets, rabbits and guinea pigs with care and affection. Pupils also spent time petting and feeding a number of the livestock at the farm.
Pupils completed the trip as part of their Food Technology rotation focusing on Farm to Fork with emphasis on the journey food takes before it reaches our supermarket shelves.
All of our Year 7s were polite, respectful and a credit to the school. Such was their conduct that many staff at the farm sought us out to praise their behaviour. Well done Year 7!
