Our Year 7 pupils have made a great start to Period 0 Spanish intervention, focusing on building and securing the foundational knowledge needed to succeed in Spanish.
Pupils completed a baseline assessment before taking part in a Tarsia puzzle, a hands-on learning activity where they worked together to match key Spanish and English questions and phrases.
The sessions will focus on developing pupils’ confidence with basic verb structures and high-frequency vocabulary, helping them to build strong foundations for future learning in Spanish.
