Our Year 9 netball team produced an impressive display of resilience, determination and team spirit in a closely fought fixture against Bloxwich.

Despite narrowly losing 3–2 to Bloxwich, the final score does not reflect just how well our players performed. The team faced a strong Year 10 side who have been playing together since Year 7, making the Year 9 team’s performance even more commendable.

The match was competitive from start to finish, with our players working tirelessly, supporting one another and refusing to give up. They continued to push until the final whistle, demonstrating excellent teamwork and determination throughout.

As the fixture was played against a Year 10 team, our Year 9 players will still receive the points for the fixture — a well-deserved reward for their effort and commitment.

A special mention goes to Ruby-Delilah who was voted Player of the Game by the Bloxwich players. This is a fantastic achievement and recognition of her outstanding performance.

Keira-May also put in an exceptional performance and deserves particular praise for her contribution to the team.
